Andy East is an award-winning journalist based in the United States. He has won four state press association awards in Indiana and contributed to a project in Texas that won an Edward R. Murrow award.

Andy’s work has appeared in The Associated Press, Dallas Morning News, Austin American-Statesman, Atlanta Journal-Constitution, MIT Technology Review, Texas Tribune, U.S. News & World Report, PolitiFact, Reveal from The Center for Investigating Reporting, El Espectador (Colombia), The Republic and numerous other publications.

Andy’s work also has been cited in Rolling Stone, the New York Daily News, San Antonio Express-News, Lyndon B. Johnson Presidential Library, among other publications. In addition, his work has been highlighted by the Stanford University Center for International Security and Cooperation, University of Southern California Election Cybersecurity Roundup, the American Presidency Project at the University of Southern California Santa Barbara, American Immigration Council, Duke Law Journal, Stanford Law Review and was used in a federal lawsuit filed by the Southern Poverty Law Center and the American Civil Liberties Union.
